Whilst detailing the MINI over the xmas break in the artic conditions,
I considered a thread.............

...........requesting pictures of just how filthy your minis are!!!!

So please post up pictures....and hopefully we can see some vast improvements when the warmer weather decides to arrive! (maybe)?

And please lets try to get some new faces posting up here - just a thought?

Ive got most of the stuff already but ordered some megs shampoo and New .. Megs Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax...
And some Soft Wash Gel...

WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO BUY THESE FROM OUR RESIDENT DETAILER ON HERE (shamless plug lol )

If I'm honest the last time i washed her has got to be 6 months ago :blush: fortunately she has been into the dealers many times over those last 6 months and they always washed her for me lol

Tried clear coat on me fiesta iam selling and even on ford paint did that baby SHINE its easy as well, top gear Megs,:wink: going to try all other megs stuff as well another shameless plug :clapping:

megs is good but also you can't beat Victoria Wax £30 a pot though, and I love some Autoglym stuff. SRP is just the BEST and so is their wax it wet stuff.

thats about 50ml then... would have though you would get about 100ml at least - 200ml would be not too bad...

Theres loads of superb products out there....

Often, manufacturers will produce a panel pot, which enables useres to use the product and see the results without investing in a whole pot - which lets face it they may not like! So if your considering buying....it maybe an idea?

Really good to see some new faces posting up - keep it coming...............

many thanks detailer i had to do it today so dirty couldnt even read my number plate lol it seems i will need the paint correction have the most unsightly swirl marks at the moment.Help.

paint swirls are a nightmare (especially on a black MINI!)

try lots of layers of Autoglym SRP Wayne, it'll be a start until Detailer1 can fully detail your car!

cheers dude will buy some tomorrow :worthy:ok i washed properly two bucket then then dried using a big waffleweave towel polish applied with applicator pad taking off using microfibre cloths waxed with turtle wax buffed with microfibre cloths again wheels polished with megs nxt all metal polish tyres dressed ready to go out and show it off hang on its taking me so long it was bloody dark when id done lol

LOL - sometimes these things need to be done... :)

Almost had a bit of a prang in the snow this morning - couldnt get over a hump back bridge!!! :cold:

Roads are filthy and its best not to even think about what its doing to the paintwork until you can do something about it.... :frustrated:

Ive never let it get so dirty before.... It was just too cold to get out to do it...

Looks great now - cant wait till it warms/clears up a bit more then will give it a proper going over, clay kit polish and wax!!!

Both the cars are filthy as a result of this lovely weather - so this weekend coming i will mostly be detailing......I will do some befores and afters hopefully! She informs me that she cant see out of the rear window (several times a day)
