Cam fitted with bigger injectors and colder plugs... Made 262bhp before the tune... :biggrindance: Was running a bit lean at the top end so had it live mapped by Chris at 1320... Now have a very comfortable 252bhp 219whp 196lb/ft torque... Car pulls like a train... Need to get a BBK on it though as it is getting harder to stop it...

Currently running 16" Fin alloys as I got a puncture on one of my rear tyres on my Nightspoke alloys... As the fronts are close to their limits I went for a new set of rims... I hope to be able to get some standard tyres on my Nightspokes and try and find a spare Nightspoke so I can carry it in the car on my trips abroad... (Don't trust these cans of shaving foam)

Finally got round to ordering some Ultra - Black Side repeater lenses and chrome bulbs... They looking very nice with my black a-panels...

They are some big numbers now mate - nice work!

Interesting to see what the 16's look like... have you lowered your car?

sef
26th March 2009, 11:45 AM
Not lowered yet... Need some coilovers ASAP...

The fins may soon be getting a paint job...

I think thats a reasonable/realistic number to hope for.... Will be moving up that MT power table nicely..... :)

Any idea of when they are getting fitted yet?

sef
18th May 2009, 07:19 AM
I'll fit the airbox myself, so that may get done this week. Just depends on whether Coopers have a replacement back panel available. The ChargeCooler will go on after MiniUnited...

sef
19th May 2009, 11:03 AM
I'm afraid I won't be going to MU :( My modding frenzies have taken things to the limit... I value my body parts too much :D Are you taking yours on the track?

Keano

Decided what brakes to go for yet ?? I recon AP brakes look the best but the 1st gen JCW brake kit is probably sufficient... Just needs to be kept cool from what ive heard....

sef
8th December 2009, 09:31 AM
AP's are very expensive when you need new disks though... I'll probably just go with the JCW setup... (the r56 version, can't have red calipers on my car)

How many miles have your current brakes lasted? Will you actually need/get round to having to change the AP brakes again while you own the car???

You dont track your car, at least I dont think you do, so apart from the occasional play your brakes dont take quite too much abuse, certainly not as much as track work so its unlikely IMO that they would actually wear out any time soon... although that could be reason enough not to go 'as far' as getting the AP brakes...

R56 S brakes is probably enough... lol I would be very tempted with some 2nd hand APs though... and I understand they can be finished in black... :)
