Well last night we got home from work...and my car (which we left at home) had the interior light on. We went over and investigated, and the passenger window was trying to shut itself (the frameless glass door thing where it moves the glass up a couple of mm after you've shut the door).
Thinking that I must of left the window open, I put key in ignition and closed the window, and it kept dropping, shutting...dropping...
It only drops the couple of mm that the window moves up when you close the door.
The main problem being...my alarm keeps going off, and I cant lock the car with the window fully up because it sits there trying to shut the window!!!!! so have to lock car without interior sensors armed, with window slightly open.
s0dding car!!!

Might be worth disconnecting the battery and leaving it for a while... Reconnect it and you may be okay... Worth a try first...

thanks peeps,
I cleaned out the door catch with WD40 and a toothbrush (Oral B, Hard, Cross Action head with rubber grip!) and it appears to have settled down a little, doesn't drop up and down when I leave the car!
I'll see how it goes, means I can leave the car with window shut tho!

So if it happens to me, I wont need the tongue cleaner on the back of the brush:rasp:
Hope its fixed for ya mate:cold:

no the toungue cleaner is not needed for this Mark! although, i imagine it would have no adverse effect on the door catch cleaning!
