Does any one on here now how to reset the little clock after changing the brake fluid on my daughters Mini one?

This car has a full BMW service history..............what a joke, pollen filter thingy has not been changed for years. I could easily check on this as i have a 8 month old Cooper S where the filter is just off white, the one taken out was BLACK! Will post pictures up soon.

Rear discs and pads where changed by me but the previous garage used for servicing Stephen James, Ruxley had not put the wear indicator back properly but just shorted it out near the back wheel.

Did obtain a deal on oil from BMW though, asked for a price for all the items for a Oil service but quoted £88 just for oil. Walked over to Halfrauds and they had their own stuff for £45 but the filters (oil and cabin)were more expensive!

Back to BMW Maidstone and asked for the filters and a sump plug. Parts guy said he would match the Halfruads price@£45 so deal done

TRY THIS (not my instructions)

Press reset knob and milage is shown and keep pressed.
switch on ignition till 1st position.
display will show 1_Test, keep on pressing reset button till it shows 51A and milage.
Release reset knob.
By pressing the knob briefly you will change between oil service and brake fluid.
Choose the one you wanna reset and keep reset knob till display shows Rst.
Release knob and press again.
Now your counter has been reset.

I have reset mine in the past but can remember how I did it, I think this is the instructions I followed:book:
