Can anyone help?
I'm wanting to remove my standard exhaust tips. Now i know that it is done with an allen key underneath but i just can't seem to get one to fit!
Has anyone done this before (Paul?) Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy :)
saw these on mini2 and thought of you .
I think they will look awsome on your Mini if you are going to mod it over the winter they would certainly look different!
The vented A panels are about £70 on ebay and come from Germany or Hong Kong.

Tony: Don't tempt me lol, i've already been looking at Hartge210's and Berthils lol Only issue i have is the fitment would have to be perfect.
Paul: Thanks mate :) I've have to get an allen key set and work my way through them lol

Managed to get one off last night! They use a 2.5 Hex grub screw.
Unfortunately the other is done up so tight and possibly rusted on i just can't get it off! I'll save that for Tom @ 1320s :)

For anyone interested in changing their exhaust tips take a look here:

Look just like the JCW ones but without the logo - a nice mod IMO for those with the standard exhaust tips...

not bad as an alternative to the JCW as Dave said

If I had the standard S exhaust (think they do fit on the cooper/one?) and couldnt afford a milteck/borla etc then its a cheaper alternative...
The clamps dont look that great but Im assuming they would be out of view - just some food for thought for those who dont like their beer cans...

They dont do much for me, tbh may as well go to halfrauds and get something similar:thumbdown:

At least with Ripspeed you get jubilee clips, rather than a bracket that looks like its come from a scafolders bucket:)

The exhaust tips from the JCM cat back exhaust - look exactly the same as the JCW tips without the logo
(Although I do like the logo)
